Polyurethane is the most versatile of materials and is ideal for stools and visitors chairs which have many different uses because it is hard wearing and always cleanable.
The special design of the seat and back with elliptical features enhances air flow to reduce heat build up on the body. The texture of the chair has been selected to provide maximum grip for the operator, particularly when wearing laboratory coats or clean room clothing.
Suitable for heavy duty use, the Pu multi application programme meets requirements for B5 5459 part 2-2000 for use by persons weighing up to 150kgs and for use up to 24 hours.

ESD seating must demonstrate a sound electrical continuity path that will survive harsh use. Electrical continuity is achieved throughout the structure of the assembly, without earth straps which are prone to damage.
Both surfaces of the seat and back pads are covered in an ESD fabric that contains a continuous carbon filament that will not wear. Non-marking glides are moulded in a conductive polymer ensuring continuity with the conductive elements of antistatic flooring.

Technochair Task sterile seating incorporates robust and cleanable vinyl covering on both surfaces of the back and seat pads, polished aluminium base, chrome gaslift and footring with an enclosed 'box' style mechanism.
The sealed seat is fitted with a HEPA filter to prevent migration of particles. The vinyl used is a medical grade which is water and air impermeable.
